3 Outfit Ideas for the Same Pair of Jeans

1. A Basic Sweater Tuck & Funky Belt

Sometimes it is good to be casual and plain with a twist! Folding the jeans to create a cropped style, showing the skin through the rips, and a cheetah print belt can really elevate a casual look.

In this look I pared it with a half-zip sweater and tucked it to show off the belt.

2. Shirt Layering

You know, when it gets cold outside, some of us may want to wear our favorite t-shirt..so to do this, wear a turtleneck underneath or a long-sleeve to have a cool layering detail.

Switching up the shoes styles can also bring together an outfit as well.

3. Double Neck Combo

I tried to be a bit matchy matchy with the aesthetics of this outfit lol. I decided to wear a tight turtleneck with a looser one to create a unique silhouette. I also did a tiny tuck in the front to show off the jean.

Adding a hat or another accessory can really push the look in the right direction.

Winter Trend Alert !

That’s right folks! Long skirts with sweaters and booties ! Creating a silhouette fit for every body type with elongating the legs and keeping a high waist action line in the torso. Making the body to appear slender and taller. (who doesn’t want that ?)

I love recreating this look with summer dresses or maxi dresses I didn’t get a chance to wear ! Use the bottom half of the dress as a skirt and put a sweater on top and include a belt to create the same high waist look without having to worry about buying more skirts.

Whats fun about this trend is that you get the chance to experiment with funky colors, styles and shapes in the skirt of your choice. Jeans are great but skirts naturally had more room to creativity of layering and styling.

Try this trend out with:

  1. Turtlenecks
  2. Over sized Sweaters
  3. Fitted Sweaters
  4. Button Downs
  5. Cardigans (Add a belt)
  6. Leather Jackets and a sweater you hate
  7. Pleated Cotton or wool skirts
  8. Maxi Dress
  9. Summer Dress
  10. Long skirts

One can go in the direction of classy, chic, prep, or casual in this trend, so have fun with it and explore your hearts desires!

11 Back to School Styles

I made a video showing some of my very simple and quick styles for class! Especially when you’re a commuter like me and have no time to be fancy-shmancy.

YouTube Channel : thickglitter

These styles were based on the weather in my area which is in between summer and fall 65-75 degrees. Most of my clothes came from stores like fashionova, forever21, macys, and marshalls.

Cotton Breeze – OOTD 8

Top: 5 & Below | Bottoms: Uniqlo | Bag: Dot Reeder

Transition outfits are definitely coming into effect whether we like it or not.. (sigh), BUT style doesn’t stop there !

Styling Tips:

  1. When wearing pants towards the end of summer, try to go for all linen or 100% cotton. You won’t be too hot, however covered up enough to enjoy a semi-cool breeze.
  2. Meditate, because fall and winter is coming so I know you’re going to be stressing a bit.
  3. Wide cotton or linen pants pairs best with a t-shirt, crop top or ripped jean cropped jackets to off balance the wide pants size and show off your waist. The pants forces the “hour glass” shape.
  4. For shoes, a platform sandal, flat sandal, wedge or heel works best. Bulky heavy boots will show an off balance of textures and sneakers that are not high tops is another alternative.
