Grey Cray Jean Supreme – OOTD 3

I loveeeeeeee jeans with grey hues, it gives me my fix for the day of my fit.

Shirt: Thrift
Jeans: New York & Company
Hat: Cotton on

Quick Tips:

  1. This type of hate pairs well with turtle necks, off the shoulders, and crops. Showing the silhouette of the neck is the objective for this look.
  2. The jean jacket used for this look was cut from the mid section to look cropped. Keeping the jacket unbuttoned with pop out the chest and collar bone.
  3. High-waist jeans are perfect to keep the body shape and still look classy without showing too much skin. I tied the jean with another jean belt to not take away from the design of the shirt.

The Art of Layering – OOTD 2

Hat: August Hat Company
Scarf: Vintage
Tube Top: Express
Long Sleeve: Marshalls
Skirt: Calvin Klein Jeans

This is a style I am definitely not use to AT ALL….but I gave it a try and here is what I came up with.

How Did I Style?

  1. I layered a white tube top with a black long-sleeve shirt.
  2. High-waist skirts are a very chic touch to this look, however high-waist light blue jeans would have been perfect as well.
  3. I “stole” my mother’s vintage neck scarf that added a pop of color. (These are going to be a big trend coming soon, I can sense it!)
  4. A delightful hat to add on the chic factor (my bf really likes this hat)
  5. Pull the outfit all together with some big earrings !

To conclude, do not be afraid to explore style you really wouldn’t like at all! It may surprise you, plus you only live once right?

Pants: Armani Exchange Men

Quick Styling Tips:

  • When styling orange pants, pair it with white or black to make the pants stand out.
  • Don’t over power orange with pinks, purples and blues. (it will be way too bright and look like a unicorn threw up carrots and rainbows)
  • My favorite art teacher once told me that when coloring your picture, use the same color from the top of the picture as for the bottom so that the eyes can continue to look up and down. So, in styling orange, use little hints of it maybe for the eye shadow, hair, hat, or another accessory to balance the outfit.
  • A nice complementary color to do with orange is a dark blue or navy and red (but I suggest a small amount like the graphic on my tee)

Fashion Trends To Come in 2019

Before we know it, 2019 will finally be here to serve us some trendy fashionable do’s and don’ts (lol). Now lets think for a second…what is there to come with the fashion wave ? I have done some snooping around and found some interesting runway shows..

Lets check it out :

Velvet is definitely not going anywhere, but an emerging trend may possibly be T-shirts and strapless dresses… yikes…?

Tuckable trench coats ? I tuck everything in my pants so I might actually participate in this trend aha xD..

I actually really like these looks! The wrap dress is my favorite by far. (I have a minor obsession with stripe dresses). The neon shoes are definitely coming back in style. The white neon booties are actually trending right now.

The shoulders….the shoulders… At first glance I want to laugh, but at the same time, the look is so chic. The dress fit is everything to me. Very sexy placement of the thigh slit and length.

This is the epiphany of street wear couture! I love the colors and how the shoes contribute a hint of high fashion. I will obviously wait patiently for knock-offs of these outfits soon to come (lol).
