Another Skirt Look – OOTD 10

I think I like wearing skirts more than jeans because I don’t have to worry about high waters lol (I am also obsessed with my jean jacket….

AHHH yes, fall is here, and so is my new revamped wardrobe (sike)…

There is seriously nothing like a black turtleneck with a Banana Republic skirt and a good ole jeans jacket. Another favorite outfit of mine that I just cannot stop thinking about. I felt so chic and feminine.

The colors in this outfit went so well. I was pulling solid colors from the skirt which had blue, black and white embellishments. What better way to make a matchy outfit than to add a black turtle neck and a jean jacket to bring an office look into a casual and sexy look!

Can’t wait to show you my next outfit !

Chic Cheetah – OOTD 9

Cheetah print is trending trending trending ! It is everywhere! However I have a feeling it will be a fad, but I love that it is finally back in style. I pulled together my outfit with a long cheetah print skirt, black boots, black bodysuit and a jean jacket.

Styling Tips:

  1. Cheetah print pairs nicely with black and neutral solid colors to break up the pattern. If the cheetah print has more black outlines in the design, wear darker solid colors. If the print has more brown tones, wear colors that are neutral.
  2. A pop of red or orange can really bring the outfit together with cheetah print. In my case I used red lipstick to add more brightness in my outfit.
  3. I love cheetah print with jean ! Think of jean as the black solid you need in every outfit. Jean jacket, pants, shirt, or even jean thigh high shoes will elevate the cheetah print and bring it to life.

11 Back to School Styles

I made a video showing some of my very simple and quick styles for class! Especially when you’re a commuter like me and have no time to be fancy-shmancy.

YouTube Channel : thickglitter

These styles were based on the weather in my area which is in between summer and fall 65-75 degrees. Most of my clothes came from stores like fashionova, forever21, macys, and marshalls.

Cotton Breeze – OOTD 8

Top: 5 & Below | Bottoms: Uniqlo | Bag: Dot Reeder

Transition outfits are definitely coming into effect whether we like it or not.. (sigh), BUT style doesn’t stop there !

Styling Tips:

  1. When wearing pants towards the end of summer, try to go for all linen or 100% cotton. You won’t be too hot, however covered up enough to enjoy a semi-cool breeze.
  2. Meditate, because fall and winter is coming so I know you’re going to be stressing a bit.
  3. Wide cotton or linen pants pairs best with a t-shirt, crop top or ripped jean cropped jackets to off balance the wide pants size and show off your waist. The pants forces the “hour glass” shape.
  4. For shoes, a platform sandal, flat sandal, wedge or heel works best. Bulky heavy boots will show an off balance of textures and sneakers that are not high tops is another alternative.
